We are good at what we do and we make sure that our customers come first. Our team is experienced, licensed, and qualified to perform asbestos abatement in the state of New Jersey. It is our number one priority to make sure that the customer is safe and ultimately satisfied, in order to allow you to live or work in a safer environment.
Asbestos can't be seen or smelled, which makes it very nearly impossible for a normal person to know if they are safe from exposure unless you know what to look for. Flame-retardant materials could potentially contain the mineral fibers especially in older materials. Old flooring tiles that are 9-inch by 9-inch are known to contain asbestos. Pipes that are insulated and have a white and grey insulation that may look deteriorated around the fittings are also known to contain the material.
Asbestos is any of several minerals (such as chrysotile) that readily separates into long flexible fibers, and have been implicated as causes of certain cancers, and respiratory illness. They have been used in the past as fireproof insulating materials. Asbestos could also become friable, or airborne. This should be of high concern. The reason you should take immediate action if the asbestos is in this state is because it's already breaking into dust particles that float in the air and could even turn to dust when touched therefore increasing the risk of inhalation.
